SAARC Leaders Visit To Nepal

The Leaders of South Asian Region, recently visited to Nepal for the 18th SAARC summit which was held on 26-27 November 2014 on Nepal's capital city. The summit ended with a 36 point Kathmandu declaration and SAARC framework agreement for energy co-operation. Nepal especially Kathmandu Metropolitan City brought a vast changes in infrastructures development at short period of time which changed the scenario of the entire capital city. The city was so clean, SAARC friendly and secured.


After the general meeting of the SAARC, the leaders were given retreat at the beautiful city of Dhulikhel, Kavre which is 30 kms from the capital. Retreat is SAARC culture where leaders of the member nations of the SAARC visit beautiful places, learn about their culture and cuisines and settle and discuss disputes raised on general meeting. Dhulikhel is certainly developing as a tourist center and hence government of Nepal promoted this city in SAARC summit.
Dhulikhel, Kavre
Dhulikhel city which lies along the B.P Highway and Arniko Highway, connects Kathmandu with Tibet and is one of the important trading center. The city is full of beautiful scenes of hills, view point, temples, old monuments and houses carved with traditional Newari craftsmanship. Not only the city is naturally beautiful but artificially handsome with big hotels and restaurants in different parts of the city which makes it easier for tourist from any corner of the world to stay at the city and explore more. Kathmandu University, today's no.1 University of Nepal is situated at Dhulikhel and the city has all the necessary requirements for a city to be a tourism center.
